I really do not like the Wild, and I think Knights is a tougher opponent for the grease pigs, just in case, you know.

True.

But I'm hoping that the Kings finally solve that puzzle. You have to think they are super motivated after the Oilers knocked them out in the first round of the last 3 playoffs. They definitely do not want to 4-peat that.

Both teams have won in each other's rink, I think this goes seven games.

Minnesota goes as far as Gustavsson takes them. Vegas has been outplaying the Wild pretty regularly.

Who do we even want to win? I feel like I don’t even care until Edmonton is out. So I guess Vegas for now? Minnesota if LA can turn this around and win

The Wild lose a challenge for goalie interference. Vegas player was in the crease but contact was minimal. They might as well just flip a coin on these calls because no one knows what interference actually is.

The Vegas PP set up puts a lot of pressure on the PK.

Tie game. Oh boy. Will Vegas blow this?

Edit: Yes. Yes they will.

Seeing Minny take the Knights to the brink, makes me sad, knowing how we clapped Minny in game 79.

Ohhhhhhh wait nevermind.

They really need to get rid of the offside challenges. Hurts the entertainment and integrity of the game IMO. Let the refs call the egregious ones. The ones that need scrutiny didn’t effect the outcome to begin with

I'd suggest something like the automated offsides from soccer...where players are always moving and it's when the ball is played...should be easy enough to have it automated on each blue line.

but then I remember that this is the nhl and they can't even get a goal line camera working properly that isn't 480i.

I'm cheering for the Knights in this series, cos Kings suck and Knights are my only hope to knock the grease pigs out.

wow on the third wild goal, kicking "motion" that wasn't...so a good goal...and then Vegas challenges for offside and they were right.

so I guess coaches challenges good!

I do think Vegas would be tougher for Edmonton, but I did kinda feel for Minnesota fans after that disallowed goal. Like I know it's the right call but that's cruel having to go through the stress of a review for one call, then only afterwards they show a replay of the offside.

Come on Vegas…you are our only hope.

On the goal, there was no way that it could or should have had the possibility of counting without needing a coach challenge. Do they only have one TV in Toronto and were watching the Oilers game?

Just rewind the goal (any goal) to when the puck entered the zone. It’s not that hard, it takes seconds to do, and it saves wasted time where coaches are agonized over a blue line call.

That’s my rant anyways. I’m biased as I need Vegas to be ready for the grease pigs.

I also feel like Vegas is a way tougher matchup for Edmonton, so I'm hoping the Knights take this series right away and maybe get a little rest. And hope LA can take it to 7 and lay the lumber on 97 and 29 throughout games 6 and 7.

It is 1-1 midway through the second period. The Wild tied it with four seconds left in ghe first period. Decent gane here.
