Also top 10 pick is pretty much out the window at this point. Only 2 teams could likely catch the Flames and like someone here pointed out the other day, watch the Flames finish 9 or 10 only to get bumped to 11 by some other team winning the lottery

They're 3 points out of a top 10 pick with like 12 games left

I don't understand why they only start playing with pace like this when they are in a deficit. Their season is on the line every period. Why can't they show this urgency from jump?

I was making a comment about the pairing in general. They haven’t been great for a while now.

His narrative
Flames are certainly worse without Wolf...its overblown though. Wolf isnt a top 5 goalie this season let alone historically. Eventually, hopefully, looks promising

That's where being smaller hurts him - fewer deflections are going to hit him.
He makes extra saves, due to his athletism and positioning. But he will give up more, where bigger is better (like deflections)

I don't think it's historical, no.
But he is the difference between a top 3 pick and pick 15 this year (which we lose to Florida). I truly believe that.

Wolf saved us. What a goalie.
That is 3 or 4 breakaway saves today?
