There was no need for a poll or debate on the next thread title. This was so clearly it!

Sure Fire 7 watch

https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/edmont...0-goal-scorers

with 24 games remaining
Draisaitl- check
McDavid needs 8 in 24
'lock'Hyman needs 11 in 24
Nuge needs 14 in 24
'lock' Skinner needs 19 in 24
Arvidsson needs 23 in 24
Kane needs 30 in 24

(of course the Flames- with 8- have more double digit goal scorers right now than the Sure Fire Oilers who have 6 double digit scorers- 5 of the surefire 7 and Corey Perry)

I'm utterly shocked that an older, slower team didn't set the NHL record for most 30 goal scorers in a season on a single team. Even the 83-84 Oilers with most goals in a season only had 5.

How is it a win if he wants to go home and get out of Edmonton? You think McDavid is all about max dollars only, nothing could be further from the truth.

Not even Travis Dermott can save the Oilers.

Nobody can save the Oilers.

No one.

That team couldn't follow the plot of a Mr Mugs book.

If he was that hellbent on leaving Edmonton he could have done what Tkachuk did or signed a deal taking him to UFA. He took the full 8 years, Edmonton would have had no choice but to give him what he wants.

He could force his way out tomorrow just by requesting a trade.

Poor Dermott. That's like Andy Dufresne crawling out of the pipe to find a dozen cops waiting for him.

Great analogy. I’d definitely crawl through a mile of ##### pipe to get away from the Oilers.

He started the season on the Oilers, and the Wild claimed him off waivers.

But instead of being taken back to prison, he's forced to go back in the #### pipe.

To summarize, Arizona was the prison and Edmonton is and always will be, the #### pipe.
