There used to be a women's hockey tournament called the Four Nations Cup which is probably why they went for the ridiculous Face-Off instead.

Maybe Canada needs an entirely Francophone team so the Americans are the only team with no clue what the other team is saying...although I think one of the Finnish posters on this site once claimed Swedish was an easy language...after all most Swedes can speak it.
