I love seeing Laviolette still explain why the referee got it wrong after it was clearly a simple deflection and not directed by Huberdeau.
Dude...you lost, move on.

It always felt like a hand pass needs to have some intentionality to it, but I thought the rule was black and white = if it hits a hand it's a glove pass.
Glad to be wrong!

So explain this; Maple Leafs waited like a minute on a game last year, called the ref over then called for a review. The play in question? Flames player shoots the puck off the boards back to the blue line, the puck literally grazes a Flames player's glove, then the goal gets called back because of a 'missed' as a hand pass.
But in this instance, same thing except the Flames player looked like he was actually trying to catch it. And this one isn't a hand pass? I mean, it's the right call but ####ing hell. That goal called back last year just highlights the bull#### refs.

Makes we wonder how that Zary goal was called back when it glanced off backlunds hand last year

I just got home right when the goal was scored... Is that shot clock correct? 35 shots halfway through the game?

I'd love to see the Flames stay on pace and get 70 shots...

Welcome to this year's Flames, the team that forgot they were supposed to be bad.

My first instinct was that Huby messed that chance up, but that's an insane save on replay.
Still, of course it happens to Huby.

Man we’ve seen it hit Backlunds glove, trickle down his back, out his pants, land between his legs, him and another player fight for it, another flames player come in and grab it and they call it back, yet in the same game a player was aloud to throw it over the net but because it hit our jersey the pass/goal counted. I can’t believe that actually stood as a flames fan

I think this the play that I was thinking of. And it was after the coach talked to the ref BEFORE making the challenge. It was such bull####.

Did the SC Panthers possess the Flames?
What's going on.

Feels like the Flames need a 3rd goal and rewarded for this pressure, otherwise the Rangers will eventually wake up and/or get a cheapie.
