I heard he's going to Tri-city but maybe Calgary put in a better offer. The Hitmen are legit, now tied for 1st in the conference and have the best win percentage too. They have as good as shot as anyone to make the Finals.

Or...maybe it's Price on the move instead?

Hitmen are loading up. Might as well, with all the Tiger injuries and the Blades deciding to blow it up despite leading the conference, the East is wide open.

My understanding is they are still trying to make something else happen. They do have an open Euro spot.

Seems like a lot to give up for a guy with only 19 points...

Either way, happy to see the Hitmen competitive again and going all in...better go on a run though.

Oliver Tulk commits to Wisconsin Badgers for next season. Heard a rumour that there's a little bit of NIL money for players like this. Like in the neighborhood of an AHL deal. That plus free education makes for a pretty easy decision.

Wonder why Tulk never got drafted? Small player but similar size and stat players went in later rounds.

I can see the quality of over age players dropping dramatically in the CHL with these new NCAA rules. Better for the younger players I guess. Going to be interesting to see how it all shakes out over time.

That's basically 2 seasons written off in a row now for Lindstrom. Not good to miss your D and D+1 seasons.

Well, a season and a half to be more accurate. He did enough last year to still warrant a high pic being used on him.

But yeah not good news at all.

It's crazy, this Tigers team is no joke as they are. They'd be insane with Lindstrom and Basha. The only silver lining on losing both for the year (potentially) is that the chances of them being back wit the Tigers next year have increased substantially IMO.

lol

Anholt better keep adding.

His Canes are in the midst of three games straight against the Oil Kings and so far have lost 7-3, 5-2 and are currently losing 3-0 after two periods in the third game.

Emptying the cupboards to load up and the getting smoked like that by a division rival has to be pretty ####ing embarrassing.

lmao so since this post I made, the hurricanes went on to dominate the 3rd with 23-8 shots and scored 3 goals in the last 8:52 to tie the game and it's currently in a shoot out.

EDIT: Canes complete the comeback

But, the silver lining is it increases the odds that both of those two are back with the Tigers next season and (barring injuries FFS) they would be poised to really make some noise.

They'd have their entire D set to return (Van Mulligan as a 20)
They'd have Switzer in net as an 18, and he's gained huge experience this season and really done well
They'd have Lindstrom (19), Basha (20), Ritchie (19), SGC (17), the Rucks (17), McCann (18), Harsanyi (18) back at forward with another 20 slot to fill yet

And a forward you might have heard of named McKenna to top it all off, poised for 130-150 point season in all likelihood.
