Hope this isn’t true. Silence doesn’t mean anything. It’s likely there was in fact some incident but maybe people are shook up or injured and it’s not top of mind for anybody to be posting any sort of updates to the masses, especially from the family themselves. There is a picture floating around social media and reddit right now of a group chat between friends that looks like it has a photo from a notepad from police/responders.

It has the name of Matthew Gaudreau and Johnny Gaudreau with their addresses and DOBs and also the contact of a local medical examiner. It also has a statement about the accident:

"One car saw 2 bicyclists on Rd. Car moved into opposite lane, car in rear attempted to pass and hit cyclist"

I looked at the original guys x account who first tweeted then deleted. He looks legit working for a flyers media outlet. The fact he deleted it too kind of shows he panicked and now he’s silent too. I’m losing hope.
