I hope Chase explains how he figured out how to turn Phil into a house for one episode, and then turn him back into Phil without any of his crew noticing.

Watched the David Chase/Sopranos doc on HBO this weekend. What an ending!
Actually, the whole thing was really well done, as you would expect it to be.
Also re-watched The Many Saints of Newark. I saw it in theatres and I liked it, and after the re-watch I liked it even more. I really can't figure out why the fandom s### all over it as much as they did.

Doing a rewatch of Sopranos in 4k right now. Damn, it holds up so well and looks so good. Feel like a kid again watching all the bits I forgot about years ago. Each episode is truly great. James Gandolfini really does deserve the title of greatest TV actor.

This link says the actual 4k version comes out in 2 months, so it's either upscaled on my TV or some enhanced HD version. I'm watching on my IPTV stream and it's damn snazzy to watch. I can literally see people's nose hairs on up close shots, so it's pretty close if it's not 4k.
Been going down the Sopranos rabbit hole for the past few weeks since I've been rewatching. Found this great interview with Gandolfini from the Actor's Studio back in '04.
Trying to find the 60 Minutes interview with him, but that seems to be gone. Quite a few recent articles about Gandolfini's struggles with substance abuse in his later seasons that have come to light which is sad to read. By all accounts, still an awesome dude. Tragic he died at his relatively young age.
I am now convinced this is the top tv show of all time. Excellent TV from start to finish.

Welcome to our club!
On Gandolfini's struggles, the cast and crew had an intervention in the later seasons as Gandolfini was showing up to work late regularly. When he walked into it, he apparently said, "fire me", and left.

He went missing once for a scene, they couldn't find him until a few days after when he called them. I don't know where I read it now.
He was also amazing; he gave part of his cheque to the crew when they didn't get paid what they wanted.
