The gap control on McDavid tonight is how I expected "nhl" defensemen to defend that guy since he came into the league.

Right team won. Colorado controlled the play and we're dangerous off the rush all game. Oilers had a bounce and an egregious missed call go their way to get to ot. Hockey gods prevailed.

Yeah they played him perfectly. Toews especially. And putting him on his *ss at least once a game helps too.

His competitiveness is the highest I've seen from a current star.

I think in a 7 game series between those two, the Avs win it 10 times out of 10. Likely in 6 games or less. They're just a deeper, more superior team.
