Canucks don't have a board because their fans are too ridiculous

Let's put it this way:

If the Oilers had the record they deserved based on how they were playing during the 16 game win streak - they would have a similar overall record as the Flames right now.

They aren't good. They have the same weaknesses that they have always had.

Not really this year.

They are currently 5th in GF% at 5v5.
They are 8th in ga/60 5v5.

They are 15th on the PK, which seems like their biggest issue currently.

Defense deoth is an issue. Broberg is the only non starting D man with NHL experience. Probably need at least one more depth D.

I am on this forum. I am in the "OILERS ARE OVERRATED!" camp.

But outside of us... Oilers are highly thought of. That someone here has the opinion they might be junk shouldn't make you start saying they can't be a fan of another team while saying Oilers might not suck.

My favourite is that idiot Ryan Whitney saying that the best 5 on 5 team in the NHL gets stronger.....I mean, he's joking with that right?

Stick to insider information. Your personal thoughts and opinions aren't as joyful.

Well they are 5th in GF% and 1st in XGF% 5v5, so they are definitely a contender for that crown.

They do need more scoring from their goaltending than they've been getting if they're going to compete so they better put Jeff Skinner in net.

There's lots of eastern (and all) media that just see a team that won 16 games in a row and assume that it means something, without looking at how they got those wins.

We were supposed to be all scared of the Oilers last year too

Colorado and Dallas have improved more than them and were better to begin with, other teams still with improving left to do. Heck even the Jets with Monahan and 7 goals so far.

No one can save the Oilers. Not Henrique or Carrick.

No one.
