Never did it, never will. It's kind of a badge of honor in some ways now, considering it's so prevalent and casually used. Could never get into drugs, just hated the feeling of them all. Would rather be sober.

As common among athletes as protein shakes though.

Not as common as pumping painkillers though. But that is often encouraged by the medical staff. There is a reason why players can play through pain. Different drugs though and nobody in hockey writ large really cares about the post-career consequences. Powder is different, that makes the league look bad and actions will be taken (if the player is ####ty enough).

When Kuznetsov accidently stumbled into a friends room with a random gal he did not know and sat down at a table with lines of coke that he claimed was an unclear substance he was coming off a 72 point season. That situation is different.

Ok everyone, no need to rail against the guy. This will be a blow to his career. I’m sure he’s numb to it all though. I doubt he’s looking down his nose at anyone after this.
