Can we trade Linholm during the all-star festivities? Can save on return airfare to Calgary that way.

After he knocks off the rust, he will be fine.

I'm glad they're making Conroy's decision way easier.

Im sorry
I don’t think I’m trolling
I simply think for a number of reasons (cap space, apparent effort) the value this year just isn’t what most (including me) were hoping for

And hell
If my message board opinion on our players value has that much influence
Then
We are in bigger trouble than I thought ha ha

Cap room is definitely an issue with teams that are contending
Tanev might bring the most for us
Hanifin might be worth keeping
Lindholm appears to be eyeing free agency and his efforts lately have soured a lot on this board, imagine what people who are after building a cup winning team for their livelihood see when thinking about acquiring a rental who is currently producing this……. garbage
The trades haven't happened because it's waaaay too far in advance of the TDL. Buyers just aren't prepared to make a trade right now, just like every year at this time.

Only saw the first period, but only took a few minutes to see him burn up the ice and make an effective offensive zone pinch and get back into position without issue.

It might not return the lofty expectations some were hoping for but saying we are ending up with a couple of seconds and a B prospect for our UFA's is hyperbole. Lindholm has not had a great year, it happens, neither is the team. Teams will look at the overall picture and he will return a 1st + at the deadline. I think we will do ok at the deadline, GM's get stupid.

There's definitely some rust on the hands for Kylington. Thought he was good positionally. And it's like he hasn't missed a beat with his skating, it's so easy for him to cover the entire rink.

Noticed ton8ght as well they switched Lingholm and Kadri in the 3rd. Lindholm was out with the kids the whole period.

Ok
I can buy that
However
They need to fit him under the cap while wondering if the performance/effort will be there from him for a couple of months before he walks
Is that worth a first?
I dunno

Full retention at 2.4? I think GetBack or Freeway posted as well at the deadline it's more like 1.3 with full retention. Yeah, he's going to get a good return. Even at his reduced production rate.

Thanks Johnny, may you waste away the rest of your playing years in obscurity, it's what you wanted.
I don't hate him as a person, I think he's a good guy. One of the nicest families too.

But yeah, I hate his decision as a player to do what he did.

If the rumors are true and there is some regret around that decision, then well.. good. It was stupid.

1.3
Reduced production rate
What other players fit those parameters and what’s the return?

Again
Not trolling
Just wondering
I hope he returns 2 firsts and a prospect
Maybe he does
But
I fear he’s just as likely to return a 2nd a 4th and a prospect
