Yes the angle behind the net where you can only see the goalies back will be the angle to show it lol

One of those logic without visual evidence situations

League tends not to air on the side of logic

Not like you can put a device inside the puck to be certain.

You see it disappear between the arm/body there. I mean, the body without the puck is at least 90% behind the line, but not surprising it's waved off.

Ridiculous not to just have a better way to tell if the puck crossed he line in 2023
Like an apple airtag Duct Taped to it.

Or a sensor in the puck

Puck was obviously in because there was no part of the puck over the blue paint or goal line, and the part of Gustaffson that it was under was entirely behind the goal line. Problem is that you know where it is but you can’t see it because it is under the goalie.

It's a bit funny though that all of Backlund, Coleman, and Huberdeau had a chance at the empty net and all three of them flubbed it up in different ways

Bad luck. Can’t call that a goal definitively, even though logic tells you it is in.

Interference on Backlund on the zone entry attempt that went for icing was egregious

Radio announcers should know the rules. Wills “that puck is probably in but you HAVEto see it go In.”

No, you don’t. It’s rare but if there’s no doubt they can call it even if the puck isn’t visible. Saw it versus Louongo once

Correct call. Martin with a nasty slash on Vladar, Weegar with a medium cross check and Martin with a helmet pull off.
