Great game , great half time show , and even NFL Red Zone was showing the TDs

For what (in my opinion) was a pretty bad overall seasons for the CFL they really nailed the Grey Cup

Just to echo what others have said, great game, great result, great for the league.
Congratulations to Montreal.
Anything can happen in the CFL!!!
That's why I love it.

I knock the CFL a lot but that was a great game and great half time show

Surely they could sell enough ads to put it on CBC? I know tons of people that didn't watch because they couldn't

Glad to see a well-played and exciting game. Hopefully the CFL can build on this next season and for the Grey Cup in Vancouver.

I thought Mtl was full marks for that win. A bad roughing the passer call gifted Wpg 4 points (a FG became a TD) and Mtl gets that short yardage TD at the end of the first half 9 times out of 10. Maybe more.

It was closer than it should have been.

Overall, really enjoyable game. Great half time show. Worst possible outcome for Riders fans. Love it.

I didn't care who win before the game, but seeing noodle arm won it after he left Saskatchewan brought a smile to my face.

Great game! I thought Winnipeg would win but I’m happy I was wrong. Even my non-caring wife watched and enjoyed it. Happy to see that silly dynasty talk end.

Wild finish. Wow. That was a fun game with some pretty incredible catches by both the offenses and the defenses. Fun game!

This was a good Grey Cup for the CFL. Entertaining game and halftime show. Credit to the Als defense as they were on a mission in the 2nd half of the game. Also credit to Fajardo as that last TD pass was pinpoint into a really small window. If you would have told me in the spring that a team coached by Jason Maas and QB'd by Cody Fajardo would win the Grey Cup I would have laughed but here we are.

What do you mean sell enough ads? TSN has the full rights to CFL.

When CBC had the CFL last time, they did very little with it to promote it or produce it. TSN literally saved the CFL and put effort into it.

Well TSN cant put games on CBC because they dont have a working agreement with them.

They could air it on CTV I suppose but then unless you are subscribed to them or in a city where its OTA digitally, you wouldn't get the game anyway.

Airing on their flagship station makes all the business sense in the world. They can charge more for 30 second spots and if someone wants to watch at home they have to subscribe.

I'm guessing when the tv numbers come out that this will be a massive home run for TSN/Bell.

late to the game but hhahahahaha suck it Bomber fans! Now you know how we felt.

Man that play call on 3rd and 5???! I didn't watch it until now.

Driving home from Edmonton and listening to most of the game on the radio sounded like it was a great game.

Especially when they should have had an additional three cracks at scoring late in the 1st half. This is a pretty inexcusable miss by the zebras and the command centre.

This is the first and only CFL game I watched this season start to finish, life just got in the way this year. I echo the thoughts of others, the game was fantastic and great call getting Green Day for the half time show.

That was a missed call that would have been huge if called. Another was the one on the Montreal tackler who was called for a head shot, which wasn’t a head shot. I guess none of that matters anymore as the right team won.

Yeah I mentioned that missed offside call at the end of the half. Kinda weird not to call it.

But the way that QB was sneaking it for Montreal it is 50-50 if he would’ve ever scored

They keep it on TSN only to sell subscriptions
on a free network it would get higher ratings and more ad revenue to offset losses

Tons of people no longer watch the CFL or Grey Cup because its on a paid network...yes it was good for a time but not long term

I am only talking about the Grey Cup not the entire season

2.8 million tuned into the Grey Cup! 14.5% higher than last year.
