Celebrini would be great, but I just hope the Flames win the draft lottery in 2026.

Oh that’s three years away… who are we hoping for?

That’s final and all, but I would appreciate you focusing your hopeful energy on winning it this year, so they can draft my Nephew.

Tank for Celebrini? Pffft. I'm 100 percent convinced that the answer in this draft to the Flames woes is Cayden Lindstrom.

I'll take either.

We need a better phrase for this so it matches his name.

Sinky for Celebrini?

Okay. Name the last time the Flames picked top 3 in a draft.

Then, ask how many times the Oilers have picked 1 OA in a draft.....

See a difference?

Cheering for losing is what Oiler fans do. Don't give in to this darkness!

It is more like we are cheering for trades, and accepting that losses that will follow.

Nobody's cheering for losses, those are happening naturally. Hoping the franchise accepts how flawed the roster is another thing entirely. Embrace the suck, once and draft as high as you can.

The majority here aren't so much as cheering for losses, but accepting the inevitable and having fun with putting a playful name to the suckyness.

This is a great post for 2 reasons:
1) 'Swing your weenie' is not synonymous with losing.
2) You thought it was so obvious someone would have beat you to the punch.

I thought it just had to rhyme. Not going to bother checking but I would guess someone has used weenie already lol.

Yes, so we've never had a high draft pick. We all know this. But that doesn't excuse behaving like Oiler fans the moment we slide in the standings.

Let's have some self-respect.
