The same people who are complaining about loosing Giordano in the expansion draft are likely the dames ones who would be complaining endlessly about the Flsmes trading picks to protect an ancient Giordano and lossing Kylington ‘for nothing’.

Agreed I actually think that is a really fair deal for both sides if Treliving thinks Vladar has starter upside.

Gio is pretty much done and McCabe is a bottom pair D man so they absolutely could use Hanifin.

Gio is going to be a 7th D pretty quick and McCabe sure isn’t blocking Hanifin. We’ll see. I think Nylander will be traded by the Leafs

Best answer is don't trade a 2024 1st, a broken down truck for 7x7 contract when you know the broken down truck is 60% chance of being LTIR fodder in 2022-23.

Yeah. UFAs and coaches were his worst attributes as a GM. Brouwer to Neal to Kadri. Kadri might bounce back but I’m not holding my breath.

Both are UFA’s in a year.
Nylander is coming off a 40-47-87 year and has arguably the better trade value.

I like Nylander the player, but why do you want to bring in another late 20’s, 1 season to UFA?
If we are moving Hanifin, we need a mid to lower 20’s 1 season to RFA.
