Great just when our drafted is looking like a star.

He's the story of the playoffs so far.

Florida is 6-0 in overtime this year. Plus the last second goal to knock out Carolina in game 4. Obviously goaltending plays a big part in that, but that kind of record is bonkers.

You can't even say they haven't faced adversity in the playoffs because they were down 3-1 to Boston before the Bruins imploded. Game 1 should be very interesting.

As we saw in 2004, goaltenders can not win games by themselves. The best they can do is make it very difficult for you to lose the game, but they can't win it for you. You still need someone to deposit a puck or two inside the other goaltender's cage.

Does '04 still hurt? Yes, but as time has gone on, my focus has shifted away from "it was in" and that egregious trip along the boards leading to the OT goal in that same game. Lately, it's been on the fact we only scored one goal in Game 7 - and it was Craig Conroy that got it - not Iggy or Gelinas or... (did we even have any real goal scorers on that team other than those two?).

Anyway, the point is we sure could have used a Tkaclutch.

Well, they almost can. The problem is that Khabi was also outstanding in the playoffs that year. (And... that goal he let in that wasn't counted...)

.966 goaltending against the Canes and 4 one goal wins

IDK, seems like he won the series

sure he needed them to score a goal or two

I mean they scored TEN goals in the entire series...which was equal to over 5 games of playing time

Exactly they are 1-3 with the other goalie, same skaters

TNT and TBS

It's crazy you need multiple networks to follow the entire playoffs in the US. Short term money but not good in the long run

I love seeing Beezer in net from the '96 run at the start. That was such a fun playoffs run right through to the finals and I cheered the Panthers on every game I could watch. The rats on the ice were hilarious and fans were so into it. It's quite possibly the most fun Cinderella run I've watched outside of '04.

I understand the hate for Tkachuk and Bennett etc etc. U the organization here fumbled big time on personalal and term. If any thi g this is a enditment how badly the organization has run since 91' . Two lost potential franchise franchise players willing another trade partner to potentially a cup.....all the players cut from Calgary traded to Florida even including lambert scoring big goals. All the top Florida player to make a impact theses play offs ore ones that wanted out . Maybe Calgary flames are the problem?
