Basically IMO it sounds like there will be no full rebuild, the team should have made the playoffs (true)
Will give youth plenty of chances for to grab a roster spot, it's up to them to do it
Will not go into season with 7 potential UFAs - asset management
The core will change a bit this offseason

All sounds good to me. As well as having Nonis and Maloney help out.

Certainly sounds like Lindholm had no intention on signing here, and now Conroy will circle back to see if that changed - but everything that Connie has said leads me to believe that if pen to ink isn't guaranteed on July 1st, he's gone.

Conroy talked about this in an interview a while back. Said Burke would use the management guys while Treliving worked alone in his office making deals.

that Lindholm contract needs to be reasonable, or move him.

To be brief:

1. Collaboration
2. No walking players to UFA

Sounds like a mini-retool (that is NOT a "rebuild") is on the table...Nonis' comments allude to that as well.

Yep, which is the proper decision. And he would fetch a pretty huge return.

I kinda wonder if Hartley is at least interviewed… Conroy talked highly of him and he definitely is passionate.

Creative offensively with the puck.

Huberdeau is loving what he's hearing.

I'm hoping Matthew Philips decides to give it one more go with the club based on today.
