A commanding 2-8 vs second/third string goalies in the last two playoffs. Well done.

The LRT road home from my date last night with all the mourning Oilers fans was pretty rad.

But it will also be hilarious if they bolt for greener pastures. So it's actually kind of a win win. Their window was pretty much this year, and maybe next, if they can coerce an older player into a "front office" job to free up cap space. Otherwise they won't be able to ice a full roster.

Draisaitl is turning 28. Next year should be the year he starts to fall off. With the exception of 2018/19, Toews certainly got worse post 28.

Still he's money on the powerplay so he should be productive into his 30's even as a powerplay specialist.

Their powerplay was at 46% in the playoffs and they still went out? Oooof.

Not enough diving. Something they can try to improve on next season.

A great PP only gets you so far in the playoffs. The deeper into the playoffs you go, the fewer PPs you’re going to get. It might not be fair, but that’s how the league has worked for ages.
Until the Oilers develop into a top-10 5-on-5 team (which shouldn’t really be that hard with McDrai), they’re not going to be winning Cups.

Because there is lots of focus on McRobot. No McRobot will change all of that.

The powerplay should be part of your scoring arsenal and score big goals. You wont win when its your entire offensive system and your only way of scoring.
Boston beat Vancouver with a 10% powerplay. The same season the Canucks feasted on the powerplay.
You need to score in all situations.

LOL at the end of the game with the mandatory cheer to the "Best Fans in the NHL". How quickly we forget the amount of jerseys Oiler fans have thrown on the ice in the last number of years.

I think he will definitely stay, he really seems to like Edmonton. Look how broken he was in the post game. Now look at McDavid's post game and how meh about it he was. That is the guy that is leaving, he can't wait.

Bouchard played over 31 minutes last night to Nurses 19 minutes in the most important game of the year. If I’m Bouchard I’m asking for at least Nurse money.

McDoofus is going to butt heads wherever he ends up. Coaches will ask him to actually try to defend. Can't see him agreeing to that.

How many one on one discussions do you think McSavior and Woody had during the year? I'm thinking none.

The Oilers PP ran at 46%, and they outscored the opposition 18-10 on special teams.
And they STILL only went 6 and 6 in the playoffs. I mean, almost impossible.

Only when Woodcroft was reciting the McDavid's prayer in front of the chosen one.
