I was in a playoff auction draft last night. 14 team each with a budget of $2500. Top 8 scorers less injuries from each playoff team are available. Most everyone is an Oilers fan...so I ended up buying Kempe, Kopitar, Arvidsson, and Fiala for $550 in total. Evan Bouchard alone went for $400, Nurse was $430...cheapest Oiler was Ekholm at $330 mostly because he was the last one drawn. So I'm hoping the Kings can pull the upset and Fiala can make an earlier return.

The source I have shows the Oilers 2nd to Boston in the last 40 games (0.813 to 0.800). It's only a difference of one point though.

anyway it doesn't matter, they can pump their tires all they want...hope they are really over confident. Playoffs are a different animal and I think LA is a good playoff team. If LA is an underdog they are barely and underdog.

It sucks that Fiala and Vilardi are likely out at least in game 1. That is a pretty significant part of the Kings offense.

If I am the King's I am basically throwing game 1 by being ultra physical on McDavid. Let them have 10 PP's in the game they will be at home and jacked to start but make it so McDavid is beaten down for the rest of the series.

Yes! Even if they are soft on McDavid, the Oilers gonna dive their way to at least 6 PP, might as well initiate the attack, make them pay for the PP physically!

Nothing before now means anything. Just what you do in the series at hand. And it's do or die.

You'd be surprised what happens when every one raises their intensity level. Regular season doesn't always translate. That's been demonstrated many times.

If the kings get all their guys in by game 2 I could see them holding their own.

I don’t know what it is, but teams just look at the Oilers like deer in headlights. I realize mcdoofus is fast but the rest of them should be squished hard and often.
