I swear the advanced stats bros only look at the numerical summaries. And if you put them in front of the TV they just see the game like Neo sees the matrix code, but with corsi, expected goals and +/-.

He had a nice finish but it was a ridiculously bad give away/bounce
I think it's fair to say Tkachuk's goal was pretty fortunate. He hasn't been that noticable....more so than the rest of his team but it's a low bar
If Smith or somebody scored it you guys wouldn't be going on and on

I have been. But while you hate the guy and see everything he does as a further reason to keep hating him, I watch him without any axes to grind.
He's playing against the team that just had the greatest season in NHL history, and against one of the best shutdown centers the game has ever seen. I've seen so many passes sent to him that are just getting picked off all over the place out there. I've also seen him leading rushes and busting his ass to the be the second guy back.
Connor McDavid would look like Kyler Yamamoto against this Bruins team.

Yeah he has, but you have to look at things relative. He's stood out to me much more than anyone else has on the Panthers.
Like I said, I'm not thinking everything he does sucks - and I'm also recognizing the team he's playing against. Although I will give you that one play where he almost hip checked his own guy just inside the blueline on the first shift after the last Bruins goal lol.

Wow, I was just about to post how awful this 4th goal was... but Hathaway batted it out of Lyon's glove. I don't know how they're going to rule on this. He should have closed his glove, but you can't be allowed to do that to a goalie... Buuut who knows with this league
Edit: No goal. Feels like the right call, but I don't think anyone really knows what's allowed or not anymore lol

Looking at this game, I should've stuck to my original prediction that Panthers gonna get swept instead of later Bruins in 5. Bruins are like playing a leisure game, no panic what so ever.

I think there are biases both ways...goal was a nice finish but an absolute gift from the Bruins
Bottom line Tkachuk and the Panthers are a 92 point team and don't have a hope in hell
Waste of 8 days
