Lucic only played 8:59 (team low)

Only 13 (regular season?) games left of his time here.

Great effort and game. The knights are human. Still a long hill to climb to get in, but gotta love breaking the curse against these entitled clowns.

People keep saying this but the Yotes are 19-11-3 at home

Watching sportsnet highlights. They showed about 4 of the 7 goals. If this was a mcpowerplay and his sidekicks highlight package they'd have shown all 7 goals with analysis of each goal.

Finally a win in LV. Good work Flames. Great to be on the right side and take advantage of the OOT.

and 10-4-5 since the all star break including wins over Minny(twice), Tampa and Nashville.

They've clearly done some real good things for the last month and a half and shouldn't be viewed as a bottom feeder. Anyone who plays them will have to earn that W.

These teams at the bottom of the standings are throwing kids out there who are trying to earn jobs/contracts for next season and the team is really playing with no pressure. Those games can be very tricky and if you don't have your best, it could be a frustrating night(see CGY vs Anaheim last Friday).

For those of us that didn't see the game, what were the funky .ines they used, that worked, Or were they chnging all game long?

Great to wake up to a win, let alone a win over Vegas.

Toffoli beast mode, Dube all over the puck but horrible puck luck and Backlund continuing his incredible season easily a top 3F on this team imo.

3rd pairing got exposed a bit.

Lindholm looks fine to me. He's never been flashy.

The main issue with the forward continues to be Kadri and Huberdeau. Imagine how great this team would look if they were both even 80% of where they were last season. Especially as this team has list so many games by a goal and/or in OT.

Both of them just make so many boneheaded plays too. Huberdeau loves his bleed passes and Kadri loves to shoot the puck directly into the defenders.

Anyways.... Ending the downer talk. That was an amazing game, particularly the third. The Flames getting their first win in Vegas is huge coming down the stretch. Monkeys on their back are a huge issue with this team, and the was a big one.

Every year we keep hearing that mantra of just get to the playoffs.... This year it seems true.

A coming in hot Colorado is likely the best team in the West, but their aren't what they were last year. It honestly seems like any of the top ten teams in the West could advance to the finals.

Credit where it's due. Sutter made some changes to ice time, and it worked.

Very happy!

Not to be ‘that’ guy, but the incessant bitching about Lucic is really tiresome. We knew full well that his contract was bad when we traded for the even worse James Neal. We’ve undeniably won that trade and Lucic has by and large been a bigger asset to the team than most would have thought when we unloaded Neal for him.

Good character guy, knows when to scrap, and has years of experience that is important for the younger guys. Haven’t heard anything negative about him as a teammate or person. And honestly I’d need to see the advanced stats on his play but I don’t think he’s the albatross out there some of you make it seem.

I get it, he’s on the tail of his career and he’s overpaid. Again, we knew that going in, it was the best option and he’s been way better than Neal. Can we stop relentlessly ####ting on the guy every ####ing thread?
