In happier news Pettersson and Miller are 1 and 2 in short handed points while playing on a historically all-time never seen before bad penalty kill, so that's neat.

Ofcourse they are. They are doing the age old Canadian franchise tradition.

Getting close and then trying to rush it along. It has worked all of never without a lot of luck.

2011 Canucks
Current Leafs.

End of list.

The Stars are up on the Kraken 2-1
Grubauer doing his best to keep it close.

The Wild and Sharks are tied 1-1 and so are the Predators and Kings.

2011 Canucks and current Leafs are fully formed. Not good examples IMO. Probably the best most recent Canadian teams you could find .

Or the Flames will play down to them like they did the Ducks and make them look like Cup champs.

And both took a #### ton of luck and everything going right. Both teams made deals that could have ####ed everything up if they didn't play out perfectly.

2011 never happens with Sundin if he says yes to the second year.

Looks like Kuzmenko may outscore Horvat this season in points and goals. I'd much rather have him on my team. Future is looking good for this 1st year NHL player. 32 goals to this point. And lots of character and humour to boot.

Minny wins again. They are 10-0-2 in their last 12. Must be nice to go on a big streak like that.

And they did it tonight without Kaprizov. I wonder how long he'll be out that injury did not look great.

They have one less point than us with a game in hand, hard for us to play "down" to their level

The Flames have also massively underachieved this season and have played down to weaker teams all year. That's why they find themselves only one point up on them.

Apparently the Flames were close to being the team to bring Panarin to the NHL and were the runner-up according to Elliot Freidman.

He was supposed to win the Vezina just for his preseason play too.

Their done because of about 15-20 other games where they crapped the bed one way or another.

Caught the highlights of the Tor/Edm game. That Marner goal was something else.

Also the look on McCryBaby's face after he got stripped of the puck leading to the EN goal was pretty good.
