The defense really is making Markstrom's job tough. The first goal looked like Gilbert might have gotten in the way with a poor block attempt and this second goal had a player all over him.

Pull Markstrom. ####ing smallest big goalie I have ever seen. Guy has been absolute garbage ever since the Oilers playoff series. He’s only been decent in 1 out of three seasons as a Flame. Oh look he actually made a save!!

This team is not making the playoffs with goaltending this bad. Time to write this season off and start thinking about what they can do this summer to make the team more competitive...starting between the pipes.
