Getting tired of all the posts we hit. Really. I will say my oft repeated comment - I don't care how many penalties the refs call, just be fair about it. And as for Kelly Hrudey, he irritated me more than Monster Truck and Louie tonight.

No doubt at all that's a call on the Flames if the roles were reversed and the Flames were winning.

Flames still should have won but got absolutely ####ed by the refs and most people knew they would.
77% possession and penalties 3-1
Flames leading scorer gets taken out in the slot 40 feet from the puck in the final minute.
Does anyone honestly think McDrai doesn't get that call?

If Markstrom had played that way in the playoffs, totally different series. But he didn't.
Anyway I thought the Flames played well enough to deserve to win, the lopsided reffing in the third was frustrating.

Yes absolutely, but the refs didn’t have the balls to make the call in the final minute. I’m guessing they didn’t want to influence the outcome when they did by aiding McDavids pp goal.
Rigged? No. Incompetence? Yes.
