#### it. I thought it was a great period of hockey by both teams.
Nobody shying away from contact, lots of speed, good levels of compete.
L.A. is on the rise in the division. If they get a few more defensemen and a franchise goalie, they will be hard to beat.

Not a bad road period.
I thought their only problem was turning it over a few times on the breakout - they hit a few skates and the Kinds got some extra zone time and shots.
Otherwise pretty good. Vladar was solid, as usual. Good PK. Absolutely should have gotten a PP from the trip.
I think we see more zone time in the second, and the Flames have the zone advantage for the period.

The transition game is dead. Stone had complete control of the puck Lindholm is wide open for a pass but he decided it was best to dump it in.
Kind of sums up the transition game.

Good points they just made about Lewis. Lewis is an easy guy to like, works hard, plays smart and tough, controls the puck. Rarely screws up, easy to see why a coach like Sutter likes him. Then to see him score a little bit is sweet.
