Toffoli had a good rush not too long, but it failed to end in a scoring chance unfortunately - so yeah, I’d agree. It’s just part of the line construction right now. We don’t have enough skill up front, and this approach of spreading it through too many lines just exacerbates the problem.

I think Sutter is an amazing motivator and has a great system but his love affair with guys like Trevor Lewis drives me nuts. His judgement in line combos isn't worth dog #### either. Like move Huby back up there instead of having your 10.5M star on the 3rd line. Trevor Lewis should never ever be in your top 6, especially when you are struggling offensively.

I sometimes wonder if we could stack up the top line when trailing. Huberdeau - Kadri - Lindholm sure seems like a lethal scoring line.

I don’t think so. He has been setting up Coleman plenty in recent games - it’s our fault for playing him on the 3rd line.
He had a slow start (large part of that is on Lindholm’s bad start as well), and now Sutter is just playing Trevor Lewis - and that is just stupid.
