Liking this new team. Sick of the refs when we play Connor McButtcrack as my 5 year old son coined this week. When he wakes up and watches the highlights he is going to be stoked.

Ya agreed completely was just thinking he is ####ing awesome. Love the compete level, professionalism, skill, talent, grit, like, everything about him.
I really think Calgary is going to entirely embrace this guy. He feels like a Calgary Flame big time and plays the way the city works and respects. He’s awesome.

For me it's Lewis. So much more to this guy that I hadn't seen before. Not just the hustle and the second effort, but everything else. Higher caliber than I had expected.

Too many ... pauses to get reset. Positioning was pretty good, but just a touch off on speed of response. They had good chances. Suspect that a few more games and they'll look a lot better.

Slapped around Colorado and Edmonton to start the season. Quick starts, solid goaltending and strong finishes. Add in early chemistry and some important players off to solid starts, and there's not much left to complain about.
