Weegar is in tier 4A with Lindholm, but yes we have a lot of good players on this team. Hanifin is also in 4C.

Almost all of the beat writers in the top 10 agreed with the projections although the Bruins beat writer was tepid but there was one that clearly disagreed. Any guesses?

I don't get the throwing shade at Smith by Edmonton. Edmonton had great goaltending the last month of the season and in the playoffs. I thought Smith did very well after being off for injury earlier in the season. Yes, Smith is streaky as a starter but he's part of the reason they advanced so far.

Also, Kostinen had a strong run, mid-season, when Smith got hurt.

Goaltending was NOT their problem last year, bad defense was

It's nice that the wait is almost over. The most tumultuous offseason in Flames history, and we'll finally get to begin to see whether this team is better for it or not. Should be fun to watch unfold.
