I missed out on the RR Blasty, I think I'd like one of these new ones, but my wife thinks its ugly. Hates the horse. Difficult decisions ahead.

The key to buying stuff for yourself is just always ensuring you also budget for a gift for the wife as part of the purchase.
My wife loves travel - so generally as long as there is a trip booked I can buy myself what I want lol

At some point, surely, the Flames are going to go with the current home/away sets, with the 2004 jerseys (ideally with snot-horse removed from shoulders) as their thirds, right?
I feel like they're just delaying the inevitable, and having undoubtedly the best kit in the league across all 3 designs.

I would be glad to never see the horse head on a Flames jersey again. It doesn't even really look that like a horse. The eyes are set wrong on the head and it has weirdly high cheek bones for some reason. As a kid, I never even recognized that as a horse. I always thought it was supposed to be a dragon or something.

Just saw an ad for retro jersey t-shirts Edmonton has that ugly oil sperm looking thing, Jets had their 90s Jets logo, Anaheim had the mighty ducks logo, Dallas has the state of Texas on it, Flames has the white flaming C, no Blasty, and the t shirt was black.

The t-shirts you described are exactly the rumoured RR designs for the Oilers, Jets, and Anaheim. So I guess Flames RR wtih be a black version of the pedestal.

Blasty merchandise was ruined for me back in the day by Oiler fans who insisted that the animal in the logo is a cow.
