i can't believe this is how we go out. that is the most calgary flames way of going out that you could possibly draw up.
a goal called on the ice that gets overturned in the most bull#### way you can imagine
then having mcdavid win it in overtime?
you couldn't draw a more painful way up to lose this game.

Disappointing loss for sure although it was a good game.
That was a bad call, that puck would have gone in even if Coleman didn’t touch it.

Not saying that Calgary wins the series, but regardless turning over that goal was one of the worst call I have ever seen. Who knows maybe Calgary takes game 6, someone at head office got some explaining to do

Yes, yes I do. Because we've seen numerous examples of goals that were allowed that were way more egregious than that.

Anyone surprised by another Flames playoff choke job must be new to following this team. This franchise has a genius for ####ting the bed in big moments. It’s a legacy passed down roster to roster.

I give credit to Woodcroft. He devised a system to disrupt our breakouts and when they needed to they collapsed in on the home plate area to disrupt the passes we like to make to score goals. It's a good strategy to beat the Flames and we just didn't adjust.
Add in some suspect goaltending from Markstrom, and some elite performances from their top 4 forwards and that's a series.
This honestly shocked the hell out of me. I just didn't see this series unfolding like this. I thought it would be more of a battle, but the Flames just continued to fold when things got tough. That bothers me more than anything.
Some soul searching to do for many of the players on this team in the off season.
