Just give it everything you got. That’s all I ask of this team.

I'll take the blame for those first two games.

My tradition is to get a fire going in our wood stove up here in the California mountains every time the flames play.

This week I have been traveling for the first time in a long time out in Pittsburgh, but I Left Pittsburgh at 3:30 this morning and now I'm back here with plenty of seasoned wood ready to go.

I predict four to one with a huge night from the top line.

Go Flames Go!

Here's the aftermath of a productive controlled burn I did below the house during a convincing Flames win in April.

Fire, like the Flames, can be a huge benefit sometimes and soul crushing at others around here.

Not sure that's the coolest thing to say ... are we making fun of people without money in this?

Flames need to skate harder and into dirtier areas. Move their feet more and the chances will come. They are to tentative coming through into the offensive zone. Backlund line did some and got so chances but the top line needs to do so

Lol. They meant wellness check. Not welfare cheque.

Quote:
In the United States and Canada, a wellness check is an in-person visit from one or more law enforcement officers, especially in response to a request from a friend or family member who is concerned about the person's mental health.

FYI. A welfare check is when police or ems check on a person to make sure they're ok.

Unleash the road warrior in Mangiapane. We need him to show his stuff and ignite our offense. 2 goals from Eat Bread tonight.

Yeah, they actually call it a "welfare check" around here too. Never thought about the double entendre until now.

Quote:
(a) Every law enforcement agency shall develop, adopt, and implement written policies and standard protocols pertaining to the best manner to conduct a "welfare check," when the inquiry into the welfare or well-being of the person is motivated by a concern that the person may be a danger to himself or herself or to others.

I'd like to see him back on PP1.

LOL ... good to know.

Luckily I haven't had that check. I just know welfare and cheque and it seemed mean as hell!

The first line really needs to get some pucks on the net.

Backlund has 7 shots. The entire first line combined has 8.

Lindholm 4, Tkachuk 2, Gaudreau 2.

Johnny has fired 6 shots wide to go with his 2 on net.

That first line is way too good for this to continue. Im confident Johnny will start hitting that net tonight.

Go Flames Go!

Lot of high scoring games so far, hopefully this series also turns the corner. Flames skill guys need to take over the series, pronto.

It’s arguably the biggest game of Guadreau’s NHL career.

Dallas has all the tools but have underperformed all year now they are playing more to their potential.

The regular season was fun for a change. Do the Flames have another level they can reach? Guess we’re going to find out tonight. Probably a pivotal game in the season.
they haven't even come close to their potential , scoring 1 goal in 2 games?
