No pressure on them anymore, so now they play better.
Saw this with so many Flames teams over the years.

So young Matthew Tkachuk is tied for 6th in the NHL scoring race.
Doing this while being only 270th in time on ice per game.
Johnny is 4th in the same race while being only 222nd in ice time per game.
Eye popping and remarkable numbers.

Also doing it while being significantly better defensively than 2 of the top 3 on that same list.

The Canucks are proud to select from the London Knights (and I'm thinking rats there goes Tkachuk)...Olli Juolevi.

How exactly does one go about "exercising" shark demons (which, frankly, sounds terrifying)?
Are they like dogs? Can you run them, or take them to the park? Or (because they are "shark demons") does one need to locate a sufficiently large enough body of water in order for them to swim? Can you take them to the gym, or exercise them using your own home-gym equipment? Do you ever worry that they will eat you while exercising, or is it more a concern that they will eat you if you don't exercise them?
It's all very confusing, but that was a solid game, and a good Flames win.

It is so satisfying when he is wrong. The way he makes statements come across as so arrogant so when he is wrong time and time again it feels good

Another testament to the brilliance of Sutter, in managing their ice time.
I will assume those 3 had more ice time last year/under Ward.
Of course this only happens with a lot of other factors; the team buy in to Sutter's system and style, having a strong second line that can score, effective 3rd and 4th lines so overall the top line can play efficient minutes and their ice times are managed.
But the instant domination through puck possession and chemistry and hard work to get the puck back, has that line on fire all season.

Two different posters have now called out the need for these fat, lazy demons to get in some workouts.
The demon obesity epidemic is unfortunately continuing to cause alarm among leaders of the occult.

Is that a legit quote, or a paraphrase?
Gaudreau should only agree to an extension if part of the deal is the Flames agree to revoke all access Francis has to the team. Sportsnet should have him cover the Oilers.
