I just want to see a win in regulation.
It doesn't have to be a huge blow out. I would prefer the team approach this game as just another opportunity at 2 points.
Don't give the Oilers and their fans the satisfaction of thinking their team is anything special in our eyes.
I'm too lazy to try to link the image from my phone, but think of the "I feel bad for you" "I don't think about you at all" exchange from Mad Men.

Have many of you actually listened to this guy? He seems very nice, would love to talk hockey with him, and seems like an inclusive employer for the assistants.
But wow, for an NHL coach, he strikes me as being on the feeble end of the spectrum. For a team that clearly has major leadership issues, how did he get selected? I've heard that he's quite an intelligent hockey mind, similar to one of his assistants that we know too well (GG), but he absolutely does not seem like the man to reign in McDrai.
This is the first coach's interview that I've watched that so clearly stuck out as the wrong man for the job

Would love a BoA win tonight. I just think about how many times the Flames in particular came out with big games after a really big W against a true contender.
I hate the Oil, I hate that they even consume the baited breath of Flames fans, I hate everything about their existence so I want W over these over stimulated media donkeys.
GFG!

He talks too much.
Gives me Ward and GG vibes, a little too diplomatic for my tastes.
I'll trade a W tonight for losses in next the 4 games.
Just winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!
Meh - people focus on the Oilers too much, this board was in shambles about needing to blow up the team after they lost to the Oilers last time even though we beat the team that was the best team in the NHL (Florida) a couple of nights before that.
I'd much rather lose tonight and then beat the Capitals, Lightning, Red Wings, and Avalanche.
The Capitals, Lightning, and Avalanche are all much bigger tests for this team than the Oilers.

Because this petty hate machine that is the Calgarypuck forums runs on schadenfreude. You guys enjoy the failure of your rivals more than the team you cheer fors success.
