It’s got to be nice when he gains the zone, passes off and it’s Toffoli, not Ritchie.

They have to, they are under contract for a certain amount of commercials. They had to catch up because we had 7+ minutes without a break.

They are contracted to have 3 tv timeouts per period. The long 7 mins threw a wrench into the plan so they had to get it in reguardless of the time left

Super pumped with how noticeable it was to have a 3rd line rolling like the rest! Lots to like with Toffoli in the early shifts here and I’m super excited to see Monahan get over this next hump in his recovery.

Is there a chance someone can turn Tkachuk kissing Johnny's glove into a gif? It's around the 19 second mark. Thanks in advance.

Toffoli and Monahan had a strong period. Good to see.

If that happens it’s like Treliving traded for two guys.

Toffoli’s gotta be bagged. Late night, altitude, lots of hockey. Maybe adrenalin will carry him.

I imagine. Remember that Olli Jokkinen got 2 or 3 goals his first night as a Flame. I think there's a little juice flowing when you get traded.

Really only a couple issues in that period. Some cutesy passes by Tkachuk that went the other way in a hurry (and one strange one by Backlund to Zadorov I think), and a couple runaround shifts in their own end. I thought Vladar looked nervous but the Flames protected him a lot early on. Two bad breakdowns, one resulting in a goal.

Even though he didn't play here long, it is still a lot of fun to see the Jagr in flaming C hi-lites.

Sarich never passes up an opportunity to bring up that Tampa 03-04 team.

I really like him, but this is unacceptable. He needs to be ripped off the air immediately.

IIRC 4th game in 6 nights.

Plus he's probably been super wired and busy since yesterday morning.
