I dunno. Regardless of what's happening with kylington, draisatl can't beat Tanev to the middle, clean like that. It was a brutal play.

I thought the team played pretty well tonight. Their goalie beat our goalie and as someone who hates to blame refs, they were absolutely a factor tonight. The Oilers win when they get power plays and they got what they needed tonight with a couple of weak calls, making good.

Move on, keep playing like this and the game prior and we'll start racking up wins again.

The Flames.

The Oilers have McDavid and Draisaitl center two separate lines, so at the very least, they have at least 2 potentially dangerous lines.

The Flames on the other-hand get a special teams goal, 2 even strength goals by the top line and bagels from everyone else once again. The Flames aren’t going far with this strategy. I mean, the Oilers in a way should be top heavy because 2 players make $22M, but what’s the Flames’ excuse for being so top heavy?

Don't see him as a long term option to run with.
The opposing goalie often looks better because the Flames don't have any shooters

Flames deserved better right up until drysaddle undressed our best defensive defenseman. The refs won the game for the Oilers, the Flames played fine.

That being said, backlund and Coleman are not playing like top 6 forwards and we are going to be in big trouble paying them big money moving forward.

I can’t agree with that. It wasn’t a really strange move, Draisatl justcleanly skated around him. There’s no expectation of your partner to bail you out there.

What? These kind of comments blow my mind. Season is over? Well then you better quit watching. Hope your subscription was for 40 games. Because Sutters teams always dominate in regular season and win the Presidents Trophy.

I'm staying away from all sports media over the next couple of days, as it'll no doubt be a full on Oilers circle jerk about them being back, and that they're Cup favorites again.

Koski made some great saves to keep the Oilers in the game. He was better than Marky.

Yeah, couldn't Sutter have done this? I was half expecting a challenge or second look by the officials.

Dang it Surly Rancher man. Maybe he wanted them to learn the hard way and just looked the other way lol.

Markstrom was the 2nd best goalie tonight. He is mediocre
Lack goal scorer is obvious

My opinion too. Regardless of what's happening anywhere else, Tanev got completely undressed by draisatl

Sutter won't call out the refs. He just doesn't do that.

Oilers played at the top of their game. The Flames did not. If they had, they would have won.

If you can’t beat a depleted Oilers team there’s a problem. Same thing earlier in the year versus the San Jose AHL team. Pathetic

A Laine type for the PP would fill in a lot of the cracks in this team quite honestly.

As for goaltending, I think we'll be alright as long as we don't face a Canadian team in round 1.

And if Markstrom can't get it done, Sergeev and The Wolf are on the way.
