The tribute was done correctly. It wasn’t some gushing thing about him, but recognizing his off ice contributions over a period of almost 7 years was the right thing to do.

Also Eric Francis remains insufferable.

Why didn't I hate that Francis segment?

I don't think he said anything notably stupid.

Just realized it was his first too. That's pretty huge give how often he's been knocking on the door to pot one. Some Ras goals could come in handy.

Team actually came out with some emotion after being called out by their coach. Best I've seen the second line look in quite some time. Still not sure why the coaching staff ever broke Backlund and Mangiapane up, these two form one of best forward pairings on the team.
