Only a few places in Calgary have jerseys not much option for you there.

Someone checked into this a few weeks ago and the club isn't doing customized jerseys during the offseason. Think you still can on the league shop though. Best bet is to get the jersey customized at the game.

Got the email about the season schedule. Thought brilliant, I’m in Calgary April 2-18, I’ll get to a game!

First three games are on the road.

That is the one drawback at Spruce Meadows. We have a couple longer spans where there are no home games because of their horse things.

I actually don't mind those April games in Ontario. It's generally warmer out there during that month than here anyways. May/June/July/August/September are best for Calgary usually. Seems like teh new schedule stacks us with games here in July/August as well, which is great.

Expanding my Calvary group this year! Convinced a buddy to get season tickets plus I bought an extra seat so we can bring along extras and get them hooked! My group of two is up to 4, well plus the 5 season ticket holders we became buddies with last year!

For those who like to have the schedule in your calendar - it's ready!

It is recommended that you subscribe vs. add because I will update it when dates and times change, cup matches are announced, playoffs, results, etc. If you have subscribed in past seasons and are still subscribed, the link it the same and you shouldn't have to do anything.

https://calendar.google.com/calendar...blic/basic.ics

On iOS: Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other > Add Subscribed Calendar > Paste the link and leave everything else as default.

On Google Calendar on computer: Settings > General > Add Calendar > From URL > Paste the link

Android and other calendar services/apps: Figure it out.

The official Stanza link on the Cavalry web site has never really worked well for me, so I just enter it myself as it is cleaner anyway. If you spot any errors, especially with time zones, please let me know.

Just booked flights and an AirBnB for the Pacific game on July 22. Can't wait to check out that beauty of a stadium.

Rumours floating around that it's Fraser Aird signing with Cavalry. Would be a decent replacement at RB for Farsi. But then I can't use this photo any more...

We were ripping on Aird pretty hard when he played at Spruce Meadows last. I remember he laughed and appreciated our intensity despite being the butt end of our jokes. Maybe he enjoyed that and wants to be on the good side of our wrath

If I was Ali Adnan I'd never want to step foot in Calgary again

I watched that second leg in Vancouver with some Southsider pals. That was the peak of Lenarduzzi out, and they didn’t want Adnan back in Vancouver either.

If you can convince Cavalry to give you the numbers/letters you need. World of Soccer can put them on. It’s the same guy who does it for the Cavs, I just don’t think they have them on-hand

Fraser Aird it is. 2 year contract plus an option for 2024. Don't particularly rate him myself as he seems disinterested far too often, but decent enough signing to replace Farsi.

Also, Edmonton confirmed that all but 2 players from their 2021 roster have been released.

I'm not also not a huge fan of Aird but RB was a gaping hole and I see him as an above average RB in this league. So, I think it's a good signing. Regarding Ozy's question, he's not a particularly big player. Strong crosser of the ball, has scored a highlight reel goal or two from distance, good at getting forward.

On another note, Charlie Trafford recently left his club in the UK, Wrexham. He has close ties to Cavalry through the fact he grew up in Calgary, his cousin Mason is on the team and Tommy Jr. who was his youth coach at Foothills. I could see him signing in the near future, though I guess it depends on what other options he might have in Europe. I would love to see him join the team.
