Nope...ex Oiler Ryan Strome got the 1st star.

Who did they trade him for?

Ryan Spooner....now in the KHL.

It can’t be the worst contract in the league yet… because it doesn’t even come into effect until next year.

Hey Tip...newsflash, your team scored ONE goal.

Only a shutout would have made your comment believable.

Just for ####s and giggles. The Oilers traded Jordan Eberle to the NYI for Ryan Strome. Strome was then traded to the Rangers for Ryan Spooner. Spooner was then traded to Vancouver for 36 games of Sam Gagner. Gagner was then traded from Edmonton to Detroit for 9 games and 2 points of Andreas Athansiou.

It’s almost like it’s designed in Tippett’s systems. The sooner they get to the Oiler’s end and score, the sooner they get the puck back for McDrai.

Even better than the loss is the loss happening at the Rags, the team Lowe handpicked to raise his own banner into the rafters before the HOF ceremony. I am sure he got some of Slats old cigs and wore his HOF ring and expected to be recognized strutting around in NYC.

Next up is the Oilers playing the Leafs, in the hotbed of eastern media where Lowe made his inroads to get the press to vote him into the HOF, and, the epicenter of his campaigning of Snet to get McDavid adopted by the network.

Another embarassing loss to his team while in said media hotbed, may force a red faced Lowe to make a rash and snap decision around coaching, or at least the seed will be planted and the whispers about coaching and or goaltending will be the precursor to changes occurring.

Playing well? Lol. McD stuck up ice for odd man rushes against

I will say this. McD will be beyond awesome when he graduates to beer league. Backchecking does suck. “Let’s go”

Delightful. This organization is a joke

Overall depth issues aside...

He is most definitely the problem, if he is not willing to address the lackluster willingness of his top two players to play a 200 ft game.

It’s called leading by example.

Sure, but my guess is that there may be three or four coaches on earth that could will the two divas to listen. There is not a single available coach who will make a lic of difference for that awful team. Not one.
