I dont know, I find it disconcerting, I dont know how I'd feel if that were me. Its not like you'd get them confused or anything, they're not playing together or anything like that, I just...I find it disconcerting.
It seems as though it would be at the same time an honour yet a disservice to a completely different individual?

Tij Iginla selected ninth overall by Seattle in WHL Draft
Step 1. Flames draft Tij Iginla with their first round pick. Jarome gets to step up to the podium and call his son’s name to put on a flames jersey.
Step 2. Tij surprises and makes the team out of training camp that year.
Step 3. He plays as a heart and soul mid-six/bottom six player that the team and fans all love.
Step 4. Flames win the cup with him playing a huge depth role for them in the playoffs.
Step 5. As the youngest player on the team he is the last player to hoist the cup… which means he gets to hand it to his old man.
Step 6. I finally rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe.

I read somewhere that he's projected to come in around the bottom of the 2nd, but with the name, I wouldn't be surprised if a team takes him a few spots ahead of where he's projected if they get the chance *cough*Flames*cough*please

I think he could easily move into a late 1st/early 2nd with a solid season this year.
Flames should be able to pick him up with the 32nd pick.
