After a while, pedigree doesn't matter as much. Obviously JK had obviously a higher draft position. Both guys were PPG in the AHL, Dube obviously over a longer time. JK didn't play WJC, because he was on the Habs roster, Dube did twice, quite successfully. At the end of the day, JK has had 3 seasons in the NHL, Dube's had 2.25, both in second/3rd line roles, with decent players. They score about the same rate.

2 years is a big difference when you are very young.
When I said about JK's points being before Dube, I meant at his similar age. JK's got points in his time prior to reaching Dub's age when he made the NHL.
