I agree , I like those defenceman as well. Offense from the blueline likely isn't very good though

None of Hanifin, Andersson, Valimaki, or Montour are elite point producers on the blueline, but I feel like all 4 have some potential still on the offensive end and can make a good first pass.

I like the balance of that blueline for sure.

McCabe and Montour would be the two main targets for me.

Valimaki has hardly played in the NHL, little early to say he isn't elite. Still could be.

Kinnval could be a solid point producer. He was nearly PPG in the SHL the last two years.

Donato is interesting but my guess is he ends up somewhere like New Jersey.

Decent offensive numbers, draws a lot of penalties, strong impacts on the PP, doesn't take a lot of penalties, isn't the best in his own zone.

Honestly wonder if it's something behind the scenes there with all of San Jose, Minnesota, and Boston moving on from him, and with Seattle not taking him in the draft.

Might just be a top six or bust guy and he isn't

Getzlaf might test UFA apparently. Take the money for Coleman and bring Getzlaf here instead please.

I would way rather give Getzlaf $5M x 2 years than give it to Coleman x 6

Oilers could be all in on Getzlaf

Understand what you are saying but Getzlaf is done. Screams a veteran minimum replacement for Yanni Gourde in Tampa.

Tyler Bertuzzi would be a nice pickup, methinks.

Can’t see Getzlaf spending his entire career in Anaheim and then going to Edmonton. Would likely just retire…

I think Getzlaf goes to Vegas if he is looking to go somewhere cheap.

He's a bit of a skilled prick - from the little I have seen I like him as a player. 26 year old 50-60 point guy over a full season on a bad team.

Wonder what the contract ask is.

His wife is from OC and Vegas makes a lot of sense as it's a quick flight from home to a temporary home in Vegas. I don't know if he's got much gas left in the tank at this stage as he's been on a steady decline.

Plus it's a contender. Guy probably wouldn't mind chasing another cup.
