Residents at Upten got a message of film shooting happening in the alley behind the building this upcoming weekend.

As many of you know the new HBO Max show, The Last of Us, has been filming over the last few months downtown. This upcoming weekend they will be filming in the alley for our building. This will have minimal impact on the building, however, it will impact the back entrance/exit for residents.
During the times they are filming you will not be able to enter or exit through the back door. They will have someone stationed there to let residents know when it is ok to come and go through there. We recommend using the main entrance as much as possible on Saturday, April 2 to avoid any delays or issues getting in and out of the building.
Attached is more detailed information from the film company.

Pretty sure I just accidentally walked right through one of their sets downtown on 5th street right next to 8th Ave Place. At first I thought maybe building management was really letting the place go with all the junk, trashed car seats, rusted out gas cans and broken sidewalks then the set thing occurred to me.

They’re filming all around those spots tomorrow. 4th st has a bunch of stuff going on around 8th ave too. Multiple streets are closed all day tomorrow.
