Seattle won't take Gio, so yeah, leave him unprotected would be my thought. Very much on the back 9 of his career, much as I love him, he has not looked great for over a year.

Love Gio but you don’t protect him over another d-man that’s years younger. It’s tough to say but true. He’s not going to get any better or younger and protecting him just to be nice is silly. Only protect him if it makes sense.

I liked the size and the energy he seems to bring. Some solid hands at moments as well. I don't think he found himself in as poor of a position as often but I think he has a little more speed than rinaldo to help him make up on his mistakes
