I agree with Ferraro that #### like this 40 seconds before a goal is scored should not be a factor. But like Bob said, it's a rule and the rule was called correctly.

Could Pelletier make the team? We have such atrocious depth on RW I see people slotting guys on minimum contracts like Leivo and Simon on our first line already. Would it really be that far fetched he could crack the line up in some capacity?

Canada has outscored its opponents 41-4 in this tournament.
Russia, who some considered Canada’s most serious competition , has outscored its opponents 16-14.
It’s clear that the US will be Canada’s stiffest test, assuming they get by Finland of course.
Just a dominant performance so far.

I think I have the Finns beating the U.S tonight. They're the pluckiest bunch of pluckers that ever was plucky.
They'll be a stiff test for Canada too IMO.

The issue with Pelletier is his contract.
The Flames are really tight up against the cap and are going to be barely compliant with a 22-man roster (not even 23).
The difference between Pelletier, making $874,000, and Dominik Simon, making $700,000 will likely be enough to keep him off the team.
However I wouldn't be surprised to see Pelletier start the year on the taxi squad and maybe even get one or two games.
But still, Pelletier costs around $7,700 against the salary cap per day.

Do you have Shaw? I do and it wasn’t just TSN it was every station. Pisses me off because if you call Shaw to complain, after being on hold for an hour, you get someone in Central frigging America that doesn’t have a clue what you are talking about. Ridiculous!!
