I know a lot of people here dislike Vegas for whatever reason but they are proving themselves to be the team to beat in the West. I expect that they will spank Vancouver especially after the game tonight.

Vegas/Colorado would be an excellent series if Grubauer wasn't hurt.

For him to get ten minutes just for something he said, I cant help but wonder if a line got crossed that will result in some follow-up action from the league. How often does a player ever get 10 in the playoffs for nothing but exchanging words.

Alex Tuch is 24 years old and is signed at a cap hit of 4.75M until 2026. That really looks like a hell of a good contract with the way he is playing.

He is the type of player I would love to see on the Flames.

Didn't see the game, but I'm happy to see the Canucks got spanked back to reality. They'll likely be better for game 2, but I think Vegas still takes this series in 5 or 6.

I'll take back my love for the Canucks, I hope they get #### kicked this whole series. Watching Vegas play is everything I want in a hockey team, just relentless skating.

Hughes, Pettersson and Boeser with zero shots and only one for Miller. Horvat had two but they came in the third when the game was already over. Incredible defense.

I saw a post on reddit with a potential explanation for the misconduct, its a reach for sure as we dont know what was said.

NHL rulebook 75.4 (iii):

Misconduct Penalty - Misconduct penalties shall be assessed under this rule for the following infractions:

Any player who persists in any course of conduct (including threatening or abusive language or gestures or similar actions) designed to incite an opponent into incurring a penalty.

I kinda knew Canucks would be in tough this series. They have never beaten Vegas in franchise history in regulation. Their only win against them came in a shootout win this year. Not only does Vegas have our number but they are a top team.
