This trade was a clear and decisive win. Draft pick aside. The player is far superior.

Don't forget, Lucic can win face off too, he's 11/16 tonight.

Whenever McDavid makes a rush now, I'm gonna say, "that was Dube-esque."

Love the team game. A different hero every night and no personal stats. Would it be great to see Monahan and Gaudreau dominate every game? Absolutely! They will have their games....but as long as they aren't giving anything up trying to score for personal stats it's a win for the team.
It's kind of like taking a hit to make a play and taking a number.
Not to say that all flames were perfect today, Gaudreau has struggled, I thought Brody had a tough game controlling the puck and the 3M line had a tough out today. Dallas will come back stronger, but Flames have another gear also. Guaranteed to be Flames hockey next week!!!!

We'll need to replicate the first period at least a few more times.
That was a beautiful, relentless period that had me beaming.

Was that the best game Andersson has played as a Flame?
It was Dube's best game, that is for certain

I would say yes. He was phenominal out there.

Encouraging!
69.1 percent
Game 1 winners have gone 367-164 in winning best of seven series-- a 69.1 percent winning percentage.

Close game, overall. A bit too close for comfort. Talbot’s second goal could have tilted the game the other way. Anyway, happy we won. Let’s celebrate!
P.S. There are not many NHL players that I hate. But Perry is definitely one of them.
