You think that GM’s look at him as a 99 point guy?

Good luck with that.

They watch hockey and know what many here know.

He’s had 90 bad games. If he doesn’t turn it around this season, it’s 1.5 years.

I don't know about that. They might think a change of scenery would help to resurrect his career.

Even if it wasn't slander I find it odd anyone wants to talk about a players off-ice activities.

How can you pat yourself on the back and say I told you so, if you can’t post it though? Come on man they have been waiting with bated breath for a year to tell us plebs that they were right and others were wrong....

it makes you wonder if there's more to bringing up Robinson, other than being just a hockey move.

Johnny sells a lot of sweaters. This is a business. His appeal is not limited to his considerable (and they are that) talents on the ice.

I think they look at him as comfortably an 80-point guy on a pretty great contract for two more years. That's still a really valuable commodity.

I would have to think there would be a few GM's that think in their system/with their roster he could be a top 10 scorer again. I don't personally think it's going to happen and I really don't care either way. I just know he is not part of the solution here.

Yeah. maybe the Flames are hoping Robinson's presence will help Johnny through what ever it is he's going through.

Cyber-libel comments would be making things up about a player that are not true with a malicious intent. If it's a common thing to site a player out and about in the same locations that offer the specific services that a player has been seen using over and over and has even been punished for by the team in the past wouldn't be considered Cyber-libel . It would be a speculative opinion based on the facts at hand and forming an honest opinion with out malicious intent. At that point it would be up to players lawyer to prove that those statements are out right false with the intent to due harm .

So far the comments I have seen would fall under Fair Comment.

Also a website can't be sued for slander. Slander is oral .Libal is written .

I believe you’re right and that the situation is that dire, concerning Johnny.

The laziness and indifference , he showed on the horrible line change partially resulting in the 1st goal against, last night , was symptomatic of his GAF meter over the last 90 games.

I read posters say....” If that doesn't work, I would wager he's checked out this year and you just have to hope he gets his mojo back next season.”

Do people really expect to win when they are ok with HOPING the top player will grace us with a better effort (mojo) next season?

Johnny has played like a ##### cat for a year. That’s enough. Move him now....unless you want the team and their best player tied to that moniker.

So you are also prepared to pay for the legal costs?
Look folks - this isn't your risk to take on. It isn't mine. It's Bingo's.
He runs this site and if the site runs into problems - he pays for those problems.
So if you want to talk about Johnny - please do so. But if folks are going to continue to post speculation about him engaging in illegal off-ice acts - we will have to lock it down.

Johnny doesn't have to be drinking nothing but skittlebrau for it to affect his game. It's a game of mm's...minor differences in commitment/professionalism will manifest themselves on the ice, albeit in minor ways

One does wonder if the rush to punt Neal was concern over influencing/enabling Johnny (for lack of better words)
