stajan signed his 4x3.5 deal at 30 years old, representing 4.53% of the cap

backlund signed his 6 year deal at 29, representing 7.13% of the cap

stajan was on pace for 42 points the year before he signed(age 29), backlund played all 82 games and scored 45 points (age 28)

Stajan's 2nd year of his deal he finished with 17 points in 80 games (age 32).

In backlund's 2nd year of his new deal he is on pace for 36 points (age 31).

I am still, STILL, chuckling about your comparison. Too funny.
