We can also agree to disagree.... far from a weak shot... it was a great move.... so good that it undressed Gio as well.

Honestly not trolling. I love the guy. But his foot speed isn’t what it used to be. He got abused in that Colorado series. I think he’s lost a step.

Geez. Missed past few games. Sounds like flames are in a real bad spot. Hopefully they pull out of it soon.
Lots of fire the coach, fire GM, trade core... on this board. I understand why people react this way, but the solution has to come from within the dressing room. The season is not lost, yet.
Need to start playing like a team, from the bottom to the top.

One game at a time. This team needs to realize that they have a bigger target on them after a successful regular season last year.

It is easy to bag on the team when they are losing. I get that. But I haven’t seen anything this year (apart from Rittich’s great play) that I’ve liked. Chucky here and there, but this team looks bad. And it has all year.

Last year when the going was tough, Gio and the first line carried the team on their backs. Haven't seen any signs of a pulse from anyone not named Tkachuck Lindholm or Rittich. This team needs to grow a pair and play for the emblem on the uniform and not just amble through the games to collect a handsome paycheck for mediocrity. It should be earned not given. Trade or waive just to clear some cap space to get players with more than just a faint pulse.

We can, but I dont think a peewee wrister without a deflection counts as a great move. Talbot had good moments but he is still a useless Oiler hack who shouldn't be playing in the show.

Flames making the playoffs is an anomaly, they’ve sucked for years, yet, here I am

#Flames LW Matthew Tkachuk: "It's getting pretty old. It's getting old. It's not that our starts have been horrible. We just can't get this lead. We trail, we press and they put a six-spot up on us when it's a pretty tight game until the third period."

I don't know what happened. We just kind of let them run away with it and left our goalie out to dry, countless times. It's getting old."

Tkachuk had some really strong comments tonight: "It's disgusting. It's bad. It's bad right now. We need to change this around ... something's gotta change here. We've gotta get back to the old us and get out of this little funk here because this is not fun."

IIRC he wasn't on the ice, but came out the next shift to try to challenge Reaves but the liney got in the way and stopped him.

Punch him in the face and get suspended? Reeves won't fight Lucic

Slowest team in the league. Because of it Worst forecheck and transition game. Need Better D zone system that they can skate with puck with speed.

honestly, i think he purposely went after ex Oilers in hopes that they have a bounce back year so he could look like a genius and rub it in.

This place is ridiculous! Two out of the three first goals the Flames were robbed of scoring. Those go in and it’s a different game. They gave up as soon as the 3rd goal went in, but they were even or better before that. The puck luck and ref calls are going against them and have been for a while.

Mark my words, this team goes on a good luck run soon, the pucks start going in, guys get their confidence back, the wins start adding up and this place goes back to being happy.

The talks of blowing up the best roster (not to mention the majority of the core is very young) this team has seen since the early 90’s is just stupid. (Yes they had Kipper and Iggy, but it was not a deep roster).

No he was on the ice but was on the rush and didn’t see it. He heard the commotion and looked back and figured it out.

The only bright side I can see is you have the team that stole your dignity next. If theres anything that can help you believe in yourself again, its pulling out a win against those guys.

So the team is extremely mentally fragile and cracks easily? Not what I would call a good team. I think a rebuild is needed, this group is just not good enough.
